Which one to pick
- Opus 5.5: Claude's new flagship. Give it the complex work: writing scripts, breaking a story into shots and rendering them, planning a whole creative pipeline. It's priced below Opus 5.
- Sonnet 5.5: the balanced tier. Reliable tool use, cheaper than Opus, a good fit for most everyday creative work.
- Haiku 5.5: the lowest-priced Claude, for simple tasks like tweaking prompts or quick questions. Note: a single request whose input exceeds 100K tokens is billed at 5x, which tends to happen in very long chats or on busy canvases.
All three decide for themselves when a hard problem deserves deeper thinking.
