Three Claude 5.5 models
Open the model picker in XinYu chat and you'll find three new options in the Claude group (available on paid plans):
- Claude Opus 5.5 — Claude's new flagship, top-tier at reasoning, writing and tool use, and priced below Opus 5.
- Claude Sonnet 5.5 — the balanced tier: reliable tool use and cheaper than Opus, a good fit for most creative work.
- Claude Haiku 5.5 — the lowest-priced Claude, for simple tasks. Note: a single request whose input exceeds 100K tokens is billed at 5x (this tends to happen in very long chats or on busy canvases).
All three decide for themselves when a hard problem deserves deeper thinking.
Fable is cheaper
Claude Fable 5 and Fable 5.1 are now about 10% cheaper. Nothing to set up; it already applies.
